So... I kinda had to rewrite my entire JSON parser ๐คก
Turns out my friend flattens JSON objects โfor performanceโ and my parser just sat there likeโ
Needless to say, it didnโt go well.
๐ Lesson learned: Communication is a feature too.
I spent both days chasing the issue and testing different solutions.
๐The good news: Iโve got a solid plan now.
๐The bad news: future me has to implement it ๐

Client bug fixing marathon. Cleaned up some tricky edge cases and patched up older logic. Not flashy โ but the kind of work that builds real dev muscle.

Dove into rate-limiting logic for login/signup attempts.
Trying to answer:
โ When should a user get blocked?
โ IP-based? Session-based?
โ Whatโs the balance between security and UX?
Iโll implement a first version tomorrow. Done is better than perfect.

Started the day planning my big summer project โ๏ธ, powered through some intense (but awesome) uni lectures ๐, then jumped into code after a quick dinner ๐ฝ๏ธ.
๐ง Spent the evening beefing up my custom JSON parser to handle dynamic user input and structure data for the backend.
๐ง Challenge of the day: optimizing PUT requests to only send changed fields.
Trying to strike the perfect balance between minimal requests and lean payloads โ but my current setupโs still a bit clunky ๐ค

Today was one of those days where I really felt the weight of it all โ balancing university, client projects, Fiverr gigs, and still showing up to build my app. ๐ฏ
๐๏ธ Morning: Prepped for a big project Iโm kicking off this summer.
๐ Afternoon: Lecture + deep client feedback sessions + Fiverr revamp.
๐ฝ๏ธ Evening: Dinner (grandmaโs cooking = undefeated) โ then finally time to code.
Ended the day making solid progress connecting my data models into the app's backend โ
and was reminded yet again how powerful clean inheritance + generics can be for scaling fast. ๐ง ๐ฅ
๐ฌ Balancing multiple projects while building in public isnโt easy โ but days like this are where the momentum is built.

๐ก Had the idea to let users connect their social media accounts through the settings tab โ and spent most of the day designing the UI for that.
๐งฉ Ran into some trouble with the icon library Iโm using (yes, the X logo is still the old Twitter birdโฆ ๐), but the core design is up and running, and thatโs what matters for now!
Iโll revisit that problem later โ time to focus on implementing the logic next week.
๐ถ Iโll be offline this weekend enjoying a music festival with friends, so no app progress for a bit.

Originally planned to dive into the application settings tab today...
But something exciting came up:
๐ I got my first Fiverr gig! ๐ฅ
Spent most of the day going all in to deliver above and beyond for the client โ fingers crossed they love it ๐ค
After that, I was pretty wiped, so I just messed around with some UI elements in the user settings and cleaned up their model bindings a bit.
Not a huge leap on the app today, but still proud of how productive it felt overall. Small wins count too ๐ช
Time to relax, hop on a game with some friends, and recharge.

๐ Hit a roadblock in the afternoon with the login flow โ found a security issue in how passwords were accessed.

Dug in, fixed it, and the login logic should be airtight now.
๐ Wrapping up by squashing some UI bugs and cleaning up yesterdayโs code โ because clean code = happy devs ๐งผโจ
