Worst still, the uncle once received a personal "thank you" message from the genocidal dictator Vladimir Putin for helping him during the election that first brought him to power. In what would be a laughable revelation were it not so deadly serious, it turns out that Beattie has also spent years penning social media posts that said Western institutions should be "infiltrated" and "controlled" by Putin. He said that the Russian president is "brave and strong" and has "done more to advance conservative positions in the US than any Republican." "Nato is a much greater threat to American liberty than Putin ever was," Beattie claimed. He also railed against the "global American empire" and stated that he looks forward to our "prestige and power" waning while adding that our "position in the global order [is] rapidly deteriorating." "Imagine the whining from the Globalist American Empire if Putin ‘invades’ Ukraine… I love it when our national security bureaucrats fail!" he said just months before Russia invaded Ukraine. As if that weren't bad enough, Beattie also aggressively pushes pro-China messaging, stating that the United States should allow China to annex Taiwan. He said that the United Kingdom is a "sewage pit" and a "poor and pathetic kingdom" that would be "far better off under Chinese dominion." This man is, in a very real sense, a traitor. He is actively working to destroy our country from a position of power within our own government. Beattie worked in the first Trump administration but was fired in 2018 after he allegedly attended a white nationalist conference. In 2021, he married his wife Yulia Kirillova. Her uncle is Sergei Chernikov, a "Russian drinks magnate" who was estimated in 2005 to have a net worth of $150 million. Republicans have tried to stamp Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe as a "witch hunt" but the truth is that he found deeply disturbing connections between Trump world and the Kremlin. Just because he ultimately decided that there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute Trump himself, doesn't mean that Trump is innocent. Beattie must be fired immediately, investigated fully, prosecuted if found guilty, and the Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference hub that he dismantled must be rebuilt.
