Avoids risk of foot-in-mouth syndrome, centers attention on patient

Fluid is a drug and we have to be careful how we give. Too much can cause organ edema and injury.

Speak/be nice to EVERYONE you work with- not just the docs/ nurses. Janitors, cafeteria workers, and administrative staff often feel ignored by us, but can save your butt!
