#Topic: Comorin Sea Low consolidating into a Well Marked Low, another Low emerging over East Central & adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. Northeast Monsoon set to enter vigorous phase.
==> A low pressure area over the Comorin Sea and adjoining coasts is showing solid consolidation. It is likely to become a well marked low pressure area during the next 24 hours.
==> Another low pressure area is emerging over the East Central & adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal today.
==> Under the influence of the Comorin Sea low, widespread heavy rains were observed over South Tamil Nadu, interiors and Western Ghats yesterday night. Currently, bands are active off North Coastal Tamil Nadu.
==> From today, the next 3 days will be more important as the Northeast Monsoon is likely to get into a vigorous phase. This is expected to lead to pull effect convergence, energy transformation between the two systems, and strong wind convergence.
==> As mentioned in yesterday’s post, planetary wave support is still seen for the Comorin Sea low. Hence, close watching of the system is needed for the next 72 hours.

#Topic: Triple circulations over North Indian Ocean. Currently planetary wave’s full fledged support observed for Gulf of Mannar Low pressure area.
==> North Indian Ocean is currently hosting a clear triple circulation setup.
==> On the western side, an Equatorial Rossby (ER) wave triggered low is seen affecting the Somalia coasts. This system is expected to have no significant influence over the Indian peninsular landmass.
==> On the eastern side, the Bay of Bengal is hosting twin circulations. First system over the Gulf of Mannar as a Low Pressure Area. It lingering off TamilNadu coasts more than a 8 days already.
==> Another circulation over the Southeast Bay of Bengal.
==> The Gulf of Mannar Low Pressure Area is receiving full fledged support from planetary waves. Under this support, conditions are favourable for further consolidation into a well marked low pressure area during next 48 hrs remain open.
==> In contrast, the Andaman circulation is currently struggling to consolidate and is yet to grab meaningful support from the planetary waves.
==> The key point to watch now is how these twin circulations (Gulf of Mannar vs Andaman) fight for dominance and consolidate over the next 48–72 hours.
==> With the Low Pressure Area persisting off South Coastal Tamil Nadu and the Gulf of Mannar coasts under strong planetary wave support, the Northeast Monsoon is likely to enter a vigorous phase.
==> Conditions remain favourable for active to vigorous monsoon activity along the coastal belt. Widespread heavy rainfall activity expected over many parts of TamilNadu especially South TamilNadu, Western ghats & Coastal regions are going to see very good rainfall during next few days. There is also a chances of isolated very heavy rainfall activity with one or two spells of extremely heavy rainfall over parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during the next 72 hours.
