Thank you to the members of the House who passed the 0.45 tax renewal with 74 yays to fully fund TOPS and higher ed! Your support of our kids is greatly appreciated!!! Now on to the Senate! This #TOPSmom will sleep a little easier tonight! #lalege

Another #TOPSMom story—My daughter just graduated Dutchtown with Honors after a hard 4 years including the flood. She decided on LSU insteading of going to a neighboring state for a full ride. Let's hope that was not a mistake. #LaLege ##SaveTOPS #LSU22

#TOPSmom story- My daughter will be forced to take out 2 student loans if TOPS is not fully funded! We are middle class people & cannot afford to help pay for her college. Such a shame that it’s come to this! #LAlege Don’t take away what they’ve earned! - mom from Lafourche

#TOPSmom story- 3 kids. All have a 3.8 GPA. Son wants to be chiropractor. Lexie- a jr in Nursing. Jaida starting in fall in pre vet med. W/O TOPS my children WILL NOT be able to do an extended education. How should I pick which kid get to achieve their dream & which 2 don't?

My son is a student at NSU. He worked hard in school to graduate with honors and receive TOPS. He made the President’s List and was inducted into two prestigious honor societies. He has studied hard, attended class on time and never missed a class all year. #TOPS #TOPSMOM #LaLege
