Thought I was suffering from a bug, but after some reflection on my sipmtoms I now feel pretty confident that being on #progesterone for 2 months has caused me to experience my 1st #period. #HRT #TransHormones
Spent time yesterday on a letter I hope will get my doc to feel ok with prescribing me #cyproteroneacetate for its #progestin effects despite it also having antiandrogen effects & the fact I'd my primary means of T production removed by having a vulvoplasty. #HRT #transhormones
Giving my body time to adjust to the increased #estrogen dose I got a few months ago without progestin in me before I request an adjustment to my #HRT. #Breastgrowth seem to be almost back to where it was before I started pills. Glad I'm back on #estrogenpatches. #transhormones
What I've to pay for my #estrogenpatches has gone down, this appears to be 'cause the smaller of my 2 pates is now being fully covered. #HRT #transhormones
I'm now wearing 2 #estrogenpatches, 1 100 mcg & 1 25 mcg, changed on Mo & Fr. Hoping the addition of the 25 mcg patch helps improve my mood. #HRT #transhormones #mentalhealth
My 1st dose of #injectableprogestin has been attained & on Tu morning it'll be jabbed into me. Hope it helps with my mood & the maturation of my breasts. #HRT #transhormones #gendertransition #transhealthcare
I don't think cis people understand the degree to which HRT is medically necessary to so many (not all) trans people.
My body itself reacted to being on the right fuel.
I had panic attacks for 15 years. They went away, overnight, after my first dose of estrogen, forever.
Eagerly anticipating my first jab of #injectableprogestin on AL 27th. Hope it helps with my mood & the maturation of my breasts. #HRT #transhormones #gendertransition #transhealthcare
My head, including my face, has gotten to a shape that I seldom dislike. Thank you #estregen. #gendertransition #gendercongruence #selflove #transhormones #HRT
& in honour of my #3yearHRTanniversary I'm switching my #estrogenpatches from the big, thin, finicky to apply, & prone to loss of adhesion Estradiol Derm to the smaller, thicker, more adhesive, & more waterproof Estradot. Yey! #HRT #transhormones #anniversary #gendertransition
Wile off #HRT in prep for my #vulvoplasty & after but before I got my #estrogen upped to near a more appropriate dose I'd lots of #anxietyattacks. I'd have lots of them again if I'd hafta go off E or lower my dose. #transhormones #transheathcare #transgenderfemale #femaleidentity
If I'd no access to #estrogen then I'd become #emotionallyrepressed again. 'Cause I needed to survive I became emotionally repressed as a kid, youth, & young adult. #HRT #transhormones #transheathcare #transgenderfemale #femaleidentity
Despite the #COVID19 pandemic, I insisted my #estrogen be checked. As a result, on April 4th, my daily dose of E was upped from 2 mg to 3 mg. This so far has eliminated my #anxietyattacks. #transhormones #HRT #gendertransition #transgenderfemale #femaleidentity #transheathcare
Some of the fat that was on my shoulders & neck has been redistributed elsewhere, & yes this is a good thing. #transheathcare #HRT #transhormones #estrogen #gendertransition #transgenderfemale #femaleidentity
@melstonemusic 2015 came out as #transgenderfemale, 2018 started #HRT, & early February is #vulvoplasty. New I was probably a girl at 7, wished I had started my #gendertransition then. Now 37, but people think I'm late 20's #femaleidentity #transhormones #transhealthcare #SexReassignmentSurgery
My #HRT medications have made the weight I lost, while sick with ulcerative colitis, return in a more feminine distribution pattern. Yay!!! #femaleidentity #transgenderfemale #transhormones #gendertransition #transhealthcare #healthierme #healthyweightgain
