Last week, we were in the Eastern Cape running the first evaluations of a @TigerBrands #TreesForHomes project. In October, 1000 trees were distributed to community members of KwaBhaca, a small town that relies on subsistence farming.

The #FTFA team had a wonderful time in Nellmapius, Mamelodi earlier this month running the final evaluations of the trees distributed through an Ackermans #TreesForHomes project. A year ago, 750 trees β half fruit, half indigenous shade β were received by 375 residents.
We spent the day in Tembisa, Gauteng today running the final evaluations of trees distributed through our #TreesForHomes programme a year ago. We're delighted to report back that they are thriving and in good shape.

We were at Sizakala Centre in Hammarsdale today distributing 750 fruit trees to 375 residents as part of Ackermans' #TreesForHomes project. If all trees survive, this will represent a carbon sequestration capacity of 276,75 tonnes over their lifespan.

These trees were sponsored by #FortressREIT in celebration of the upcoming second phase opening of Sterkspruit Plaza.
As with all #TreesForHomes and #TreesForAll initiatives, the trees' survival will be evaluated one week, six months, and one year after the distribution.

We were at Masiphathisane Primary School in Vredenburg, Western Cape, yesterday distributing 1000 fruit trees to 500 community members for the Fortress REIT and Weskus Mall #TreesForHomes project. A further 30 fruit trees were planted at the school through #TreesForAll programme.
