'#SupremeCourt benches have delivered at least five judgments on the same issue in seven years. If it were an individual, it would have been an issue of contempt,' senior advocate Porus Kaka tells @AshmitTejKumar, after the court struck down provisions of the #TribunalReformsAct that limit members’ tenure to four years and pulled up the Centre for overriding a previous judgment.
While striking down the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021, the Supreme Court made a scathing criticism of the re-enactment of the very same provisions, which were earlier struck down by the Court.
