For #TrilogyTuesday this week I am showcasing the incredible futuristic JRPG series called Xenosaga for the PlayStation 2. This is a stunning turn-based combat series that has stood the test of time VERY well. Also Xenosaga III is like $250 now, hence the acrylic casing. RARE.

For #TrilogyTuesday this week, we are hopping over to the Xbox 360 to look at the Epic Games action series, Gears of War. This franchise quickly became a must-own for the Xbox 360 and even spawned an eSports movement behind it for a time. Known for chaotic, bullet-spraying third-person action, the series has since gone on to have FIVE installments, with diehard fans anxiously awaiting the day that Gears 6 hopefully arrives. Did you play this game? What did you think? What are some memories you have? Comment down below! #xbox #microsoft #gaming #collection

For #TrilogyTuesday we have the AMAZING samurai epic that is Capcom’s Onimusha series. First debuting in January of 2001 on the PlayStation 2, Onimusha has seen success on various platforms for the past few decades, though many are still vouching for the original trilogy shown here to get the remake treatment with the new RE Engine from its developer. The series takes place in feudal Japan and has you fighting fictional monsters and loads of undead samurai. Another fun fact about the game is that the first Onimusha title was the very first PlayStation 2 game to reach 1 million copies sold for the console, eventually surpassing TWO million. All three of these are excellent additions to a collection and can be found at very fair prices between $10-$20 in CIB! Thanks for reading and see you guys next week for another one!

For #TrilogyTuesday we have the absolutely exquisite squad military shooter, SOCOM : U.S. Navy SEALs on the PlayStation 2. In the early 2000s, these games forged new paths for online team-based tactical combat on console while also boasting a solid campaign, and popularized the third-person shooter genre further at a time when FPS ruled the world. While all three titles are stunning in their own right, it was SOCOM II that really put this franchise on the map, and at the time of its release in 2003 was widely considered to be a near-flawless game, scoring multiple perfect reviews across the entire industry. If you’re looking for a solid military shooter trilogy that still holds up to this day, give these three a shot the next time you go looking for some new games to add to your collection. All of these can usually be found around or well under $10 each #gaming #sony #retro

For #TrilogyTuesday we are looking at the Suikoden series, specifically III, IV, and V on the Sony PlayStation 2. These are three phenomenal JRPGs made by Konami, which unfortunately have not seen a continuation ever since the release of Suikoden V.
