Hey #gamedev Twitter. Per some lovely tweets by @tinysubversions, replicating Twitter's core benefit (reach!) on the Fediverse/Mastodon is absolutely viable, but only if enough of us move over to pass a critical threshold. #TweetOnly
For Twitter folks who saw “Mastodon Admins can see your DMs” and got spooked, note that 1) it’s a moderation tool so folks can identify and act on abuse/harassment, they aren’t looking unless there’s a problem 2) Especially on small instances, you’ll know your admins #TweetOnly
