#UABCyto case by Dr. Igor Damasceno: 67 y/o F w/ cervical adenopathy. DQ smears are highly cellular w/ small lymphocytes and epithelioid dyshesive cells, w/ enlarged nuclei, bi and multinucleation, some w/ nucleoli and nuclear pseudoinclusions. SOX10 positive. Metastatic melanoma
This week's #UABCyto case by Dr. Emily Cobb: 70 y/o M with a 2.5x2.7cm hypoechoic mass at the pancreatic body-tail junction. FNA shows ductal cells with marked atypia and nuclear overlapping, when compared to normal diagnostic of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

This week's #UABCyto case by Dr. Alyssa Lee: 54 y/o male w/ a cystic pancreatic head lesion w/ peripheral calcifications. Smears and cell block show intra and interlobular fibrosis w/ preserved lobular architecture and some lipofuscin, all in keeping with chronic pancreatitis.

This week's #UABCyto case by Radhika Patel: 77yo F prior smoker w/ bilateral preauricular parotid masses that had enlarged over a couple of weeks. FNA smears show many oncocytes and lymphocytes, and cellblock shows bilayered oncocytic epithelial cells surrounding lymphoid stroma.
This week's #UABCyto case from Dr. Igor Damasceno: 37 y/o F with a thyroid nodule. Hypercellular smear with cells in flat sheets and papillary structures. Nuclei with grooves, overlapping and pseudoinclusions. Dx: Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.
