Paying 407k as school fees to a federal university is ridiculous #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees Please repost or share. This can't be swept under the rug like the rest

The council of UNILAG Faculty Presidents earlier today had a meeting with the school management, and in these screenshots was the report they brought back to the raging students. LOL. From the perspective of a UNILAG student, read this thread for a breakdown of the reality…

9. We also appeal to the security to understand that threat to peace is injustice itself. Stand with students for a fair and peaceful resolution. The frustration is legitimate and widespread. Students are depressed. #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees

7. This is unacceptable to be honest. We are being turned into funders for the university's operational costs. is this the purpose of student fees?? #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees

5. And what about the proposed "caution fee"? Will it be refundable? Why is this financial uncertainty being imposed on students during an already stressful resumption? #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees

4. HOSTEL FEES & THE "TIP OF THE ICEBERG" We're told more increases are coming. Hostel fees are jumping from N60k to N80k. What is the justification after government-funded renovations? #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees

3. Is N50,000 really "insignificant"? We demand to see the metrics used. This amount can determine if a student continues their education or drops out. #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees

1. FORCED INTO DEBT? The management's plan seems to depend on NELFUND. But what about students who can't or won't take loans? Our education should not be tied to graduating with debt. #UNILAGFeesMustFall #WeSayNoToHikedFees #CancelRidiculousFees
