🚀 From Detonation to Electricity — a New Power-Generation Path by Prime Toolings. ⚡ We are developing a Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE) based high-speed energy-generation system, coupling the high-pressure, high-temperature exhaust of the detonation combustor to a high-speed turbocharger turbine and generator system operating at 122,000 rpm. With the RDE producing 300 kgf (≈2.94 kN) thrust, the system explores the conversion of pressure-gain combustion energy into useful shaft power and electrical energy, opening possibilities for compact high-power-density generators, portable power systems, UAV/APU applications, hybrid propulsion, remote power generation and distributed energy systems. RDE pressure-gain combustion is also being investigated for turbine-based power extraction because the combustion process can provide elevated total pressure for subsequent work extraction. https://t.co/dqWC5holG5 #aerospace #india #defense #energy #bel #bhel #army #navy #airforce #usa #israel #realestate
