The vocalist is not the problem, and neither is the technology. The most important argument in slowly slipping into the malaise of #UncheckedAI is the true replacement of human beings and the replacement of what was once “natural selection” over to “unnatural selection”. Now guys or certain ppl pride themselves on being “so real” “hotep” we going natural namaste im a naturalist kind of person, @MrChuckD however when it comes to a technology which has immense capabilities to change the course of human history as we know it, we must very careful in jumping the gun on questioning ppls concerns here. While you have the right, unfortunately you trash ppl in one particular sector such as vocalists for using auto tuned technology even though most mix engineers by default use some sort of daw based technology to add texture to all voices during the engineering process anyway. Look you are a legend Mr. Chuck D so no disrespect intended but you of all ppl should know that we have aretha franklin like singers going into the studio using vocal texturizers and vocal pads to “enhance” their voices. There are some singers that sing like Mahalia Jackson and Patty Labelle combined but can’t get on a stage without using a vocal effects machine as if they can’t sing at all, which is i mean wild AF but understandable if singing to 20k plus crowds. I personally hate auto tune primarily because it doesn’t truly tune your vocal it skews it so I actually don’t allow ppl to use it on my voice unless a true beneficial enhancement is made. Yet to criticize those that are very concerned about AI technology completely mimicking the human voice such as #Jayz’s voice in the manner this one does in the video attached below, no sir you of all ppl should be up in arms about this as next thing you know there will be an entire new @PublicEnemyFTP EP on the market making billions that you will not be entitled to because this technology and the ppl that own it may make the case of code base Intellectual property ownership which challenge your rights over your likeness as a human being. Becareful what you advocate for or for whom you diss over old standards that are being replaced faster than someone can give you a proper response to your question. Apologies but just saying - lots of things you learn when you are in this space sir as i have been and still am. This thing is here and if you were concerned about race baiting and other forms of racism popping up in 2023 oh my love your simple question of why ppl are up in arms takes on a greater more significant reason that any of the geniuses at @msnbc or any other @NPR based organization or book could ever teach you, respectfully 🙏🏾❤️ sorry about the shameless promo to @RayAngry’s event tonight but couldn’t find the original video without the promo my bad @MrChuckD lol 😂

My question is how can vocalists get mad at A.I. if you autotune over your voice and you keep the lyric flow middle school? Technology makes it easier for anyone under 18 to try their best attempts to master the onslaught of Artificial Intelligence…& ….expect many to try to .
