Seeing @julietmusical for the second time tonight and as an extra treat Iβll get to see an understudyβs take on Anne Hathaway. @kirstieskiv π #understudylove
This week at @julietmusical the role of Anne Hathaway will be played by Kirstie Skivington (@kirstieskiv)! #1stcover
I love @Dan_Crowder1βs Harry in @MammaMiaMusical but to everyone who gets the chance to see @_mdickinson: Wow, youβre in for a treat! So good to see two different takes on this role. #understudylove
The best part of going to see a West End show is setting up notifications for @WestEndCovers - Hyped for & Juliet tonight and the incredible understudies. #understudylove

We love a good understudy and @famemusicaluk last night we were treated to two excellent performances. @SerinaMathew was tremendous as Carmen. She nailed the characters arc brilliantly. @CourtGeorge_x also superb as teacher Miss Bell. #understudylove
A bit of a late tweet here but I saw @9to5MusicalUK on Friday and bloody loved it!!
Also, @MsNatashaMould absolutely smashed it as Doralee!! ππΌππΌ#UnderstudyLove
The understudies are very special people who do the role for a lead actor when he/she is sick or off and one day will be in a lead role I know these understudies will get a lead fulltime soon

Weβve seen a lot of negativity aimed at understudies/alternates on social media recently. Remember, without them the show would not go on, so letβs show our appreciation instead!
Tweet us about an amazing performance youβve seen by an understudy.

My arse got up at 5am to dayseat purely for @mazcoyne. Someone send more tea... And food... And a blanket, I'm freezing. #standbylove #understudylove #coverlove #loveemall
@Jordanfox88 I mean....all of that's true.
#understudylove is one of my most used hashtags on Instagram. Understudies are the best!! Some of my favorite performances I've seen/heard were understudies.
Thank you! I love this! #understudylove Following to see all these amazing actors and what they can do! X

This is amazing. Most shows are so damn scared of letting people know when understudies are on that they get no recognition for the amazing job they do! Take note other shows, THIS is how itβs done #understudylove
Laura will be performing alongside @rosaoreilly tonight as she is playing Glinda. Wishing you both the best show, looking forward to watching tonight πβ¨ #BestWitches #UnderstudyLove

#intervaltweet @strictlystage cast are on fire tonight! Love the energy! Everyone is brill. And of course @selina_hamilton is incredible up there because she always is! 110% every single time and we never get bored! β€ #understudylove
Two women sitting beside us at @strictlystage having a look through the programme and chatting about how brilliant @selina_hamilton is and weβre sitting here trying to not to look ridiculously proud (or look like weβre listening in π) β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ #understudyLove
Doesnβt matter how many times I watch @selina_hamilton in any show, she still seems to amaze me. She makes an incredible Fran! Iβve loved every second of the @strictlystage run and I canβt wait to see where she goes after this! #StageFave ππ»#understudyLove
