The WNBA rulebook says a player who DELIBERATELY ENTERS THE SPECTATOR STANDS is to be AUTOMATICALLY EJECTED. It even specifies that THE FIRST ROW OF SEATS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE STANDS. A’ja Wilson walks toward a courtside fan, gets into a confrontation, gets assessed a technical foul… And somehow the league’s conclusion is: NO EJECTION. NO FINE. NO SUSPENSION. SEE YOU IN GAME 3, A’JA! HOW FUCKING CONVENIENT. Their explanation? Apparently A’ja was in the magical “player escape lane” and therefore never technically entered the stands. 😂😂😂😂😂 OH GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. This is exactly why WNBA fans question whether the rules apply equally to everybody. Because apparently we don’t just need the rulebook anymore.
