I was not aware replay assist could intervene and overturn a tripping penalty. Might be nice to have on pass interference (and uncalled DPI). #VARsucks

Belgium has been granted the right to appeal against FIFA’s decision to suspend the one-game ban handed to USMNT star Folarin Balogun, less than 24 hours before the team’s round of 16 match vs. the United States, per The Athletic. The Belgian federation said it was “astonished” by FIFA’s decision to suspend the ban for a period of one year and the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) responded that the move was in “direct contradiction” of the competition regulations and said it is exploring “all potential options.”

#BHAEVE – 90+7’ The referee’s call of goal was checked and confirmed by VAR – with it deemed that Tarkowski did not impact the goalkeeper’s ability to save the ball while in an offside position.

I thought #VAR was meant to correct mistakes, not cause them? #VARsucks #bhafc @FA_PGMOL @premierleague

What is the point of VAR if when play is already stopped for a “goal kick” that actually was kicked out by a defender, constituting a clear and obvious error by the referee, that they do nothing but have no problem interfering with every possible goal? #ARSAVL #VARSUCKS

Denmark had a goal called back after a VAR review deemed the player offside yesterday in a 2-0 loss to host Germany at the Euros. This is the offsides… 🚮 #VARSucks #EURO2024 (VAR sucks and I will never like it)

For some that will justify VAR. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the perfect demonstration of why it should be scrapped (and I’m a Leicester fan). It just sucks the joy out of the game #EmiratesFACup #MUNCOV

When VAR disallows a goal like @LOSC_EN just scored, you know it doesn't work. It should be based on the center of the player's body. The software can do that. a hand is not offside. #VARSUCKS
