Q3: Feedback Tools
I've found Quizlet to be a wonderful resource for helping my 6th grade ELA students as they learn Greek and Latin word parts to help build their vocabularies. The digital flashcards and activites are great for review and as a check for understanding.

Q2: Conversation Starters
Providing these to students is important because in a virtual classroom, you can't necessarily see your peers' facial expressions, level of eye contact, or body language. They help add a level of respect while also encouraging critical thought.

A3:Google Forms is most useful of those mentioned. Forms can be used to both get and give feedback. A tool that was not mentioned is the comment feature on Google Slides. I use this most often because I can comment and students can reply if they need more clarification. #VASCDPD
A2: Sentence starters help students get over the hump of “I don’t know what to say” and they help clarify thinking to begin conversations. This can be especially helpful in a virtual setting when it’s so much harder to build community. #VASCDPD
