#Verasity started buy backs and burning $VRA tokens from the circulating supply this year. The total burns to date are 293,089,056 $VRA which means about $2 million

Here is my take on where $VRA's PoV Marker Tokens should end moving to.
From the @verasitytech we know that the ideal blockchain would need to fulfill the criteria of:
- High transaction throughput
- Efficient metadata storage
- Scalability and interoperability, with a preference for open source codebases.
โข I believe there are a few trustworthy chains that could please $VRA needs and any of them would work from the tech side
โข Each of these have their own strengths and potential weaknesses, and the final decision should be based on a combination of technical suitability and long term strategic goals that include the ecosystem growth.
โฆ SOLANA
Metadata functionality
- $SOL supports smart contracts that can handle complex data, its architecture is designed to handle large amounts of data efficiently.
Transaction speed
- Has high transaction throughput with the speeds of tens of thousands of transactions per second, making it suitable for applications requiring frequent data writes.
Scalability and interoperability
- It is highly scalable due to its unique consensus mechanism, Proof of History. Interoperability with other blockchains is still in development, but Wormhole technology is more than enough for now.
- It is an open source

Metadata functionality
- $DOT allows for the creation of custom blockchains where metadata functionality can be built to suit specific needs.
Transaction speed
- $DOT's main relay chain does not support smart contracts directly, but its parachains can be highly performant and designed for speed.

- It is designed for interoperability between different blockchains, allowing for cross chain transfers of any type of data or asset.

โข The other aspects that are crucial are ecosystem development, community engagement, and widespread adoption.
โข This is a more strategic part of the decision, and it takes more foresight to understand where the market will turn next.
If we take a completely different approach, where we put more value on the strategic and not the technical capabilities, than these make more sense:
โฆ BSC:
Technical
- BSC offers high transaction speed and low fees, making it a technically sound choice.
Strategic
- BSC has a large user base and a growing ecosystem, which is good for adoption, community growth and listing on Binance.
โฆ BSC Sidechain:
Technical
- A BSC sidechain would inherit the benefits of BSC's main chain while possibly offering more customization and scalability.
Strategic
- The sidechain would still be part of the broader BSC ecosystem, potentially benefiting from its established network effects, also help with Binance listing while allowing for more targeted growth and governance.
โฆ ETH Sidechain:
Technical
- ETH sidechains can provide scalability and low transaction costs, addressing some of the mainnet's current limitations.
Strategic
- Developer activity, and overall adoption, especially considering Ethereum's lead in decentralized applications and would make it easier to switch to ETH 2.0.
- In a perfect world a completely custom made ETH/BSC sidechain, built for specific POV needs would be re-developed, with all the knowledge of drawbacks of current build. Sadly, I believe this takes too much resources and time and $VRA needs new long term solution NOW.
โข For the 'new L1 guard' I would say @Aleph__Zero is a great fit, especially due to their focus on privacy and secure data handling.
But, even being a big proponent of what $AZERO is doing, I dont think moving POV marker tokens to a network that has not been stress tested enough is a good idea, especially since entire commercial value of @Vera_Views depends on the POV marker tokens running smoothly.
โข All things considered $SOL looks like the best overall option. Both from the tech and from the strategic view point. The ecosystem is growing and popularity of $SOL is rapidly increasing.
โข With $RNDR being one of the first heavy, enterprise users that switch to @solana, I could see it being a good choice for $VRA.
โข I doubt @rendernetwork and @JulesUrbach would risk moving to Solana without making sure it is good enough to handle their needs, which in scale should mimic those of $VRA.
