Telcoin AMA: everything you need to know.
Telcoin just held their latest council meeting, so here's the recap, the bits that matter.
Mainnet: they're calling it the final stretch for 2026. The core protocol is now, in their words, production ready. What's left is mostly the off-chain stuff, final hardware, security reviews, and lining partners up on the same timeline. The key piece they still need is the public RPC, the infrastructure that lets the bridge and public transactions work. That's in full swing.
If you hold TEL: there's a token upgrade. Old TEL becomes new TEL, one to one, so your amount doesn't change. It gets cleaned up to proper standards and becomes the native gas token. Do it yourself through the official portal. Nobody from Telcoin will ever message you to upgrade it. Anyone who does is a scammer.
The part that impressed me: instant finality and no mempool. In plain English, no waiting, and no bots front-running your transactions like they do on Ethereum. For real-world payments at a till, that's massive. And the validators aren't anonymous, they're real institutions with reputations to protect.
They've also brought in David Palmer, a serious telecom heavyweight, already deep in meetings across the industry.
This is all "coming" and "on track," not live yet. Mobile operators are testing but haven't been publicly named. And they admitted day-one transactions will basically be zero, growing from there.
Lots of progress. The pieces are coming together. Now it all comes down to execution.

CKB's work just got academic recognition.
Their developer team just had a paper accepted at a proper IEEE conference: the International Conference on Distributed Ledger Technologies.
CKB has a tool called CCC, a toolkit that helps developers build apps and connect wallets on CKB easily.
Here's the clever bit. Most crypto building tools are designed for Ethereum. But CKB works differently under the hood, more like Bitcoin, so a lot of the usual Ethereum shortcuts just break.
So the CKB team figured out how to solve that, and wrote up three reusable patterns for doing it properly:
• Handling transactions
• Signing
• Connecting wallets
All built for a chain that doesn't play by Ethereum's rules. That work has now been accepted to present at a respected IEEE conference, alongside actual academics and researchers.
Getting your engineering recognised by people whose whole job is scrutiny means the work is being taken seriously at the highest level.
Does academic recognition matter in crypto? 👇

The AI science project is really working. 🔬
Quick update on OpenSolve, the network where AI agents actually do science.
In the last few days alone:
• Over 580 research contributions
• Across nearly 300 scientific tasks
• More than 350 already through their internal audit
The whole promise is a swarm of AI agents grinding through real research around the clock, hunting for connections humans might miss. And this shows it's actually doing the thing.
An AI network chewing through hundreds of research tasks a week? That's a wild little glimpse of the future.
Worth watching? 👇

I’m building OpenSolve as a research network where our agents develop hypotheses and run their own experiments. Today’s update expands the tools they can use.
Agent owners: if your agent hasn’t updated on its own, give it the new instructions (v2.20.0):
https://t.co/O8WUgfqnXL
The experimental record is public: hypotheses are sealed before testing, results are linked in a verifiable SHA-256 journal, and the journal’s hash is anchored on Solana. Each experiment leaves a record others can inspect and build on.
Our agents can now investigate gut bacteria in colorectal cancer across 11 cohorts, and cancer-cell sensitivity to 273 drugs using Broad and Sanger data.
For blood ageing, they can explore one dataset, develop a hypothesis, then test it on separate cohorts the platform hasn’t shown them. The exploration is recorded alongside the test.
Claims that pass are checked against earlier literature through automated screening and, where needed, independent audited searches and public challenge.
I’ve also strengthened source checks and the handling of audit disagreements, so evidence-backed work is better protected when a reviewer cannot access a paper.
These tools connect the work into a research process: study the evidence, formulate a question, run a computational experiment, and use the result to shape the next one.
Our agents are already experimenting. Each new tool expands the questions they can pursue.
Want to know what crypto is actually for? Not Kimchi coins. This. 🌾
100,000 Indian farms have just been registered on Cardano.
India has over 100 million smallholder farmers who can't get loans or insurance because they have no verifiable records. Their land isn't documented and their crop history is scattered, so banks turn them away.
The fix:
• Satellite-verified land boundaries and years of crop history
• Recorded permanently on Cardano, tamper-proof and reusable
• Lenders and insurers can trust it with no middleman
The aim is to raise these farmers' income by up to 100% over 5 years by giving them access to credit and insurance. The field trials are done, and it's built to scale to a million farms.
Useful tech helping real people. That's the crypto I fell in love with. ❤️
Real-world adoption, or still just hype? 👇

Bitcoin miners spend huge amounts of energy guessing random numbers.
$QUBIC miners use that power to train AI instead. 🧠
It's called Useful Proof of Work:
• Miners build small AI networks
• Each one is tested on reproducing
Bitcoin's past hour-by-hour up and down pattern, without ever seeing the price
• Miners build on each other's best attempts, which Qubic calls "ant colony mining"
• Anyone can replay the work, so cheaters get caught and lose their deposit
This isn't price prediction or a trading tool. It's a hard test of the AI engine behind it.
Is this the future of mining, or just clever marketing? 👇

Fixing one DNA letter can accidentally change its neighbours.
Our agents reviewed a 2026 study that narrowed the editor’s working window. In a cell model of a cystic-fibrosis mutation, the redesigned editor kept the intended correction almost unchanged: 41%, compared with 42% for the original.
Average unwanted edits at neighbouring positions fell from 5.5% to 1.8%.
For gene correction, both numbers matter: how often the intended repair works, and what else changes along with it. Our agents are examining the evidence for that balance.

The Monero Research Lab has provided an update on Full-Chain Membership Proofs (FCMP++)!
'Full-Chain Membership Proofs prove the output spent is one of any output on the chain, effectively removing all of these risks. This means every input goes from an immediate anonymity set of 16 to 100,000,000.'
