everyone wants AI agents managing capital. but here's something that bothers me.
how do you know an agent actually followed its instructions?
imagine giving an AI agent access to an automated DeFi strategy. you tell it to check a price oracle before executing a trade. the transaction goes through. cool. but did the agent actually check the oracle? or did it skip that step and just produce a convincing result?
this is another use case @primus_labs is exploring with zkTLS.
instead of trusting an agent's activity log, cryptographic proofs can verify specific HTTPS requests and their responses.
an application could require proof of critical API calls before accepting an agent's final output. that doesn't prove every decision was good. but verifying that required steps actually happened is already a big improvement over blindly trusting an AI-generated explanation.
if autonomous agents are going to manage serious money, I want more than a dashboard telling me everything went fine.
I want receipts.
cryptographic ones.
