#VFSUpdates As of 4th June 2026 Headphones, headsets, earphones, laptops, and tablets may be carried within personal bags but should not be used anywhere within the Visa Application Centre and must be put away when you are dealing with the Visa Application Centre staff. This is updated for #Germany #Finland #Iceland Hopefully for all countries but do check. No more spending Rs. 500 etc just to store laptop which was an absurd rule anyways. Much needed step as so many travellers visit VFS for document submission while going/coming from work/ college etc and would have a laptop along. + just did'nt make sense for them to not allow laptop and charge for the same to be stored outside.

#Sweden has unofficially instructed VFS to not get any travelers to opt for their Premium Lounge with immediate effect. Seems this has come post the media reports etc which were out recently. A good step. Thanks @SwedeninIndia
