#VHSLFootball #VAHSFB #HSFB #VHSL #HighSchoolFootball #VAHSFBPlayoffs #VHSLState Multiple day coaching and officiating clinics will help prevent the myriad of penalties we saw in 2024. They will also help prevent what happened yesterday at the end of the Class 6 Final. There should be a three-day seminar for head coaches/staff. The @VHSL along with a functioning coaches association (not in name only) need to coordinate this for ALL coaches from around the state. Host the event in Charlottesville and you can do it up really nice. Coaches can also converse with other coaches and plan future non-district games. You can also get feedback from what coaches want to see from the VHSL in terms up setup going forward. And then have someone from VHSL leadership tell them why most of those ideas won't work. It's not that hard to have a successful organization. All it takes is a little effort. Side note: Neutral association (not the association next door) officials should also be used for ALL playoff games including at the regional level.
