Phoeun on experiences w lawyers: "a great help because while I was waiting to get deported, we fought a hard fight to get a pardon... and our fight continues." Lawyers have helped me keep pushing not just for myself, but for others who come after me by pushing the #VISIONAct.
Phoeun, who seeks to return to his community after deportation, explains that he fights for "an opportunity to seek freedom." He was transferred from prison to ICE & has worked to pass the #VISIONAct to change this reality "not only for myself but for people coming after me."
