What a lovely #voluntary_return. Meet #Turkish_Security_Forces using violence to arrest #Syrian_refugees and deport them to #Syria. Most of them are legal #refugees who fled due to #Assad atrocities. Shame on #Turkey.

هكذا هي العودة الطوعية للسوريين من تركيا التي تحدث عنها قردوغان 👆
Take a look at what #Turkish President Erdogan calls #voluntary_return of #Syrian_refugees to #Syria. It's such a pleasant and wonderful experience. If this is not enough, then let me tell you that #refugees are literally thrown in the middle of nowhere. Thank you, #Turkey.

In case you're wondering what's going on. #Turkish police deported a #Syrian family leaving behind just one son who is crying for being separated from his family.
Isn't wonderful. This is what President #Erdogan calls #voluntary_return. I am trying hard to believe him!! I can't.
If this is what #Turkish President #Erdogan calls #voluntary_return. For God's sake, how does #forced_deportation look like. Shame on #Turkey.
The voluntary return that Erdogan told the world about
arrest and then violence.
Then send him to the most dangerous place in the world #Syria

This is how #voluntary_return of #Syrians in #Turkey looks like. They're refugees who fled #Assad atrocities to find themselves being treated like criminals!!! It is appalling. It's #forced_deportation using violence. #Shame_on_Turkey
@Abo_Mhmoud_985 اي نعم 👍عودة طوعية 👇
How can President #Erdogan lie and talk about #voluntary_return of #Syrian_refugees when videos and photos are available on social media? #Syrians, #Arabs and #Westerns saw the use of extreme force. Shame.
The daily violations committed by factions of the Turkish-backed SNA, the lack of #accountability and persistence of #impunity, make the Turkish-held territories unsafe and not in meeting with the criteria of #voluntary_return set by the #United_Nations.

#Forced_deportations of #Syrian_refugees from #Lebanon are inconsistent with the criteria for #voluntary_return set by the United Nations, as their return to their areas of origin will not be safe nor dignified.

3) According to the UNHCR, more than 70 percent of #Syrian_refugees live in poverty in neighboring countries. Given Syria's dire #security, #economic, and #social situation, #voluntary_return is still not an option, including those living in extremely harsh conditions abroad.

The Lebanese authorities should stop violating Syrian refugees’ rights, as these pressures would push refugees to think about returning to Syria when it’s still unsafe.

Several factors influence the decision of #refugees to #return to #Syria or stay in Lebanon; some of these factors do not reflect the genuine opinion of refugees regarding the choice of #return.

Despite the expected security risks, refugees are deciding to return to Syria due to the economic crisis's hardships and their exposure to social violence and hate speech against refugees.

In light of the current conditions that #refugees suffer from in countries of asylum, #voluntary_return is often the best option for many refugees wishing to return to their hometown, provided that the legal conditions for return are met.

#Lebanon should fulfill its international obligations related to the protection of #Syrian refugees from any dangers that may threaten their lives.
