Starmer has signed up to the EU Refugee programme so Britain will now take "it's fair share" of illegal migrants landing in Italy. This will mean we get everyone from the small boats on the Channel plus a percentage of those in the Mediterranean. We didn't even sign up to this when we were in the EU.
