NRM Gains in Luweero: By 1986 most of the infrastructure for government schools had collapsed and others completely closed because of the 5-yr long liberation struggle against a dictatorial government but the NRM government has refurbished and built more schools to boost education standards in Luwero yielding great results. By the time NRM government come into power there were less than 30 schools in Luwero district. A sub-county like Zirobwe had only primary schools and one secondary school. Currently the district boasts of 230 primary schools spread in all parishes. However, the numbers have significantly grown as depicted in the video below #ProtectingTheGains
