#Swedish survey report: #China, #Iran and #Russia could #disrupt Sweden's #energysupply. #China's #Liminalwarfare is the #war we are called to fight provided we stop calling these hostile operations as "#grayzone operations," because they are instead #waroperations: of liminal warfare. The latest investigation report published by the Swedish Power Grid Agency warns that China, Iran and Russia have the resources to cause serious damage to #Sweden's energy supply, and there are signs that these countries may have already begun preparations. Sydsvenskan reported that judging from the experience of the war in #Ukraine, Sweden needs to prepare more for the crisis. If the power grid is damaged, electronic payment systems, electronic alarms, medical facilities, and even drinking water supplies and wastewater treatment systems would be affected. The Swedish Electricity Grid Authority (Svenska kraftnät) issued this investigative report warning that infrastructure, information or data systems and related personnel could become targets of damage to the energy supply. These actions can occur in the physical world or through #digitalattacks. According to the report, the greatest threats to Sweden's electricity supply come from China, Iran, and Russia. Russian and Iranian #intelligenceservices may commission non-state actors to act as proxies for attacks. The Iranian government has instructed criminals to attack the #Israeliembassies in #Stockholm and #Copenhagen with grenades. The Swedish Power Grid Agency pointed out that major threats to Swedish energy supply include digital threats, physical destruction, data collection, real estate takeover and #armedattacks. The report also lists numerous instances where these three countries have threatened Sweden's energy supply in the past.
