Reminds me of all those chappies in #Wodehouse who not only give the wrong address but also the wrong name. Usually all such folks spend the night at the cop station.
When at the drop of a hat everybody demands #Aadhar card, why didn't the cops ask for that or some sort of ID?

In Pune, a woman was so drunk that she went up to a female police constable sitting in her police van, and demanded a cigarette lighter. When the constable said she didn’t have one, the woman slapped her. After being taken to the police station to cool down, where she also tested positive for high alcohol content, she was released. The cops later found she had given a wrong residence address. Now they’re hunting for the needle in a haystack.
Moral of the story: All police personnel patrolling in Koregaon Park area must keep cigarette lighters. You can’t expect sloshed (‘drunk’ is so middle class) women in very upmarket Koregaon Park to keep matches, do you?
