A lot of the Estuary’s precipitation 🌧️ — and water supply — comes in the form of #AtmosphericRivers. But #ClimateChange may make these winter storms more severe, more infrequent, or more damaging due to flooding and landslides. #WRMPWednesday
This shot taken at China Camp on 12/13 by Aimee Good at the SF Bay NERR shows flooding during #KingTides on our marshes. There’s one more king tide event on 1/11 & 1/12. Upload photos to @CaliforniaKingTides Project on their website or w/ the app called Survey123. #WRMPWednesday

Oh 👋@SFBayTide! Here is a short clip from the #KingTides on the 13th. You were coming in strong that day during the storm. A small mangled craft washed up on shore. 🌊 #WRMPWednesday
The #KingTides photos/video from this past Sun - Tues give us a glimpse into how sea level rise may impact our tidal wetlands in the #SFEstuary. Check out this high tide and low tide photo from Brunini Marsh by Blackie’s Pasture in Tiburon from the 13th. #WRMPWednesday

The free conference hosted by @ASWMCommunicate is being held 11/17 thru 11/19 & is open to all. 10 presentations over 3 days cover topics ranging from wetland mapping to regional monitoring plans to beaver dam restoration monitoring. @sfei_asc will be there too! #WRMPWednesday
Why? Because on Tues 11/17 at 11:15, SFEP’s @CASeaGrant fellow @Kelly_A_Santos and Xavier Fernandez with @SFBayWaterBoard will give a presentation on the WRMP at the conference! The WRMP is fortunate to be funded by an @EPAregion9 Wetland Program Development Grant. #WRMPWednesday

Long term monitoring data collected at Rush Ranch & other NERR sites include water quality, meteorological, & emergent vegetation. These data are online in the Data Export System through the Centralized Data Management Office https://t.co/MQGVD3lsKJ #WRMPWednesday

Rush Ranch is one of the SF Bay NERR sites. The interior includes a rare tidal brackish marsh that is a special remnant of a once vast habitat that allows scientists to learn more about California’s natural history #WRMPWednesday
