๐จNO real defender of the ZSU will EVER be DMing people begging for money in the secrecy of DMs because they are /starving/have no boots/ no medical care/ need tents/ are trapped behind Russian lines etc etc.
๐จ Real defenders do not have the time for regular , lengthy chit chats and very few are actually on Twitter.
๐จ Do not allow yourself to be diverted by scam soldier accounts to GoogleChat/Telegram etc etc for 'security reasons' . These platforms are notoriously insecure and the intention is to ISOLATE the intended victim.
๐จ These fake accounts will have few to no Ukrainian followers/ following. Itโs usually โWesternโ women and bot accounts.
๐จNEVER transfer funds to anyone soliciting in DMs fullstop. These accounts are draining thousands and thousands away from the war effort as they target well meaning supporters ( usually women) who may be novices or on the fringes of our huge #NAFO / friends community and unaware of many of the cultural nuances/ norms that ultimately give these accounts away.
๐จWe DO NOT shame and victim blame- we REPOST and raise awareness.
๐จ ALWAYS REPORT/BLOCK / REPOST to alert others. Check with other more experienced #NAFO if you're unsure. ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ
