1/ I’ve been asked about this a lot recently, so here’s my update.
It’s been 17 months since I started the #WaterOnlyChallenge where the only beverage I drink is water.
Nope — no coffee, tea, diet soda, kombucha or anything but still water, full stop.
@nkshnk @KenDBerryMD My trigs got real low eating lowcarb(60) then I started a coffee habit, 6 months later trigs were 275, started the #wateronlychallenge and 4 months later trigs were back to 70s
@cadiulus @ethanjweiss Still on #WaterOnlyChallenge since May 1, 2018. Gotta say, it's gets easier and easier with each passing month. So much of what we consume is habit.

For me personally, I considered it a victory to go water only (See #WaterOnlyChallenge) a year ago as I’ve always believed it to be the best beverage if one can adapt. I’ve long suspected anything positive one gets from a beverage is better via food anyway.
When I started drinking coffee my #triglycerides were at 70. Six months later they were 238. Today marks the end of my fourth week of the #wateronlychallenge and they are 84. Same #ketogenic diet the entire time. #coffeesensitive

@siobhan_huggins @jmtiongson @DaveKeto I started a coffee/hwc habit for the first time almost a year into keto with trigs at 70, five months later trigs 268! Almost 4 weeks into #wateronlychallenge and they tested back down at 84. No coffee for me thanks

While not a coffee drinker, I was a chronic soda drinker my entire life. Getting past that has been something I never thought would be possible.
On day four of a year long still water only challenge, I hate @DaveKeto a little bit less than I did yesterday. . . .

@fuze59 @pankajdoharey I don’t drink, actually. In fact, I’m still doing the #WaterOnlyChallenge since May 1st of last year. Worse, even if I tried, I’m too much of a light weight as I get smashed on just a very small amount of alcohol (definitely not representative of the general population).
Sounds like a step towards the #WaterOnlyChallenge to me, eh .@DaveKeto ;)

The obesity crisis is one of the biggest challenges facing our NHS. I’m delighted that this morning on @lbc @MattHancock and @JonAshworth announced they will be joining me for #FizzFreeFebruary - giving up fizzy drinks for a month to raise awareness of excess sugar consumption.
@glenwhitbeck Indeed. Per my #WaterOnlyChallenge (which I’ve now been on indefinitely), I do find having beef for sustenance only is keeping the “entertainment” factor out of my head for the most part. And FWIW, it’s getting easier than it was on Day 2.
