I built #WaveItApp with the sole intention of bringing awareness to many things, including the narrative that’s being spawn in the media as the American media’s mandate is to propagate as opposed to educate. A few weeks ago, I saw a vile rant from @megynkelly addressing the state of Haitians in TPS status. The manner in which she spoke was not only vile, but very disrespectful. Her rant motivated others to voice their opinions in a similar fashion — convenient amnesia for these ballerinas. Let’s look at the data, the state of this country in 2008 forced the government to institute fiscal policies disguised as “bail-outs” in order to boost the state of the American economy. It’s an economic tactic — use your Googles wisely! In other words, Megyn and everyone else, ya’ll were broke in ‘08 and your financial situation was type of sorry. Over the last 15 years, the economic contributions of immigrants, Haitians included, have catapulted the country back to its glory days. Instead of blaming Haitians and other immigrants for “stealing” jobs, y’all ought to argue with greedy politicians and other capitalists who are overpricing goods and services necessary for your survival.
