In a 21st century school, students face each other & work together. Our new BC curriculum is based on this. This is why physical distancing needed. It's only in 19th century schools that students face forward only. #AskATeacher #bced #WeWorkInSchools

@hopkinsjeff What's so infuriating is that they keep talking AT teachers about what students are like & what students need as though it's their lane not ours. #AskATeacher #WeWorkInSchools #bced

@tracysherlock We need two weeks. It would be great if those of us who work in schools were listened too but this is going to be another case of us having to say " we told you so" after the first day. #WeWorkInSchools #askteachers

If @bcdc had asked, teachers would have explained that it takes up to 2 hours each day to fulfill the hand washing guidelines for each class in typical #bced elementary school. cc:@bctf #AskATeacher #WeWorkInSchools
