I’ve been hearing more about the concept of instant gratification as a consequence of our increasing digital world. I feel that while teaching digital literacy is extremely important, we also need to help students develop growth mindsets and learn how to “unplug”. #week2tech252

#week2tech252 Example: what if a teacher wants to attend a body positivity event where people are not entirely clothed. Traditionally, professionalism means covered clothing, but is it ok to accuse him/her of unprofessionalism if it is for good cause? Is there a grey area?

Does the use of technology in schools promote creativity? In my opinion, it does. According to the ISTE Standard of Innovative Designer, students use a deliberate design process for generating ideas, testing theories, and creating innovative artefacts. #week2tech252
