It is astonishing, when you think about it, that just two years after Boris Johnson secured a historic Tory victory, we are sitting here discussing whether he's going to survive as PM.

The welfare cap is repugnant, and regressive and is driven by an idealogy that stigmatises and demonises people in poverty.
It is wrong in principle to subject Carers Allowance, DLA, PIP and other benefits to an arbitrary cap.
