#WhatIlearnedinWR60 ๐ค๐ฌ Peer reviews in WR60 taught me the art of giving and receiving constructive feedback. Itโs a key skill for improving writing and research!

I learned about the conflicts wolves and humans face, especially farmers in terms of their cattle protection. However, I also learned that these concerns are largely unfounded, with wolves killing a small percent of livestock, and wolf hunting making livestock #WhatIlearnedinWR60
Finally, from my peers, I learned about different issues that animals, such as penguins, face everyday. From oil spills to climate change, we are aware of the negatives they have to endure, as well as resources that can help make their lives safer and easier. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Especially now in the 21st century, it is important that multimedia platforms allow for advocacy of different issues. Social media can help educate and give resources on many topics, and allows for connecting with different organizations. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Throughout this course, there were many valuable things I learned, such as the use of Chat GPT for finding issues that dogs face, as well as resources. A few key words can prompt ideas to write an entire essay.

#WhatIlearnedinWR60 In WR60, I also learned about the effective utilization of ChatGPT. ChatGPT helped streamline my research on wolves and also assisted me in identifying issues related to wolves' genetic diversity, which I then wrote about in my Advocacy Project.

#WhatIlearnedinWR60 While doing the readings for this course there was a lot of things that were interesting and new information. One of the things that stuck with me is how Crows grieve when one of their own dies.

Last, WR60 has taught me how to advocate for animal rights. By utilizing the media, blogging, and communicating with other advocates, we can effectively bring awareness to the inhumane treatment these animals go through. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Fourth, WR60 has taught me how to utilize different writing styles to present information. Specifically, writing the Scicomm article taught me how to translate complex scientific information into a simple, narrative-like article. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Third, WR60 has taught me how to utilize the media to help with research. Specifically, TwitterX allowed me to connect with other scientists to see what research, labs, and studies they have accomplished to help gather information for my projects. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

The second thing I learned was the problems dogs face in society and other animals. I was unaware of the amount of suffering and hatred some of these animals go through. As a result, I've become more aware of what could be done to help support these animals. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

The fourth thing I learned from this class was to not be afraid to use Artificial Intelligence when completing assignments. AI is a new technology, and many of my professors/TAs strictly instruct to not use AI... #WhatIlearnedinWR60
On a positive note, I've come to appreciate how intelligent and creative my peers and professors are. I enjoyed working on all the assignments and reading my classmates' writing! ๐ #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Something that will stick with me is the realization that humans might simply be the problem. Our actions and behaviors significantly impact the environment and wildlife around us ๐งโ๐ฆฑ #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Hey everyone! As WR60 wraps up, I wanted to share some insights from this amazing, research-filled time. First, I've learned the importance of finding reliable sources ๐. Good research starts with trustworthy information, and that makes all the difference! #WhatIlearnedinWR60

In conclusion, this class not only honed my writing skills, but taught me about the importance of animals in our lives. It is important for us to continue to advocate for animal conservation as their habitats are continuously shrinking.

Additionally, WR60 has taught me how to create my own website. I learned how to build different pages, utilize white space, and make an easy to read layout, while still advocating for crows. ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ#WhatIlearnedinWR60

Specifically, this class has taught me that crows are as intelligent as a seven year old. As crow expert John Marzluff says, he would โlike to think of these animals as small flying monkeys, rather than small flying birdsโ. ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ#WhatIlearnedinWR60

Another thing I have learned is the power of narrative elements. If an article does not immediately engage the reader, then they will not continue reading. Narrative storytelling will capture the reader and make them want to learn more. ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ#WhatIlearnedinWR60

Throughout this Writ60 course, I have learned so much about crows. Learning about their crazy high intelligence, amazing social skills, and playful behavior made me appreciate this species even more.๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆโโฌ#WhatIlearnedinWR60
