5. Lastly, results of evaluations are often not well managed and may hinder learning. To create links between #evaluations and their different formats, cross-departmental owners make it difficult to aggregate lessons and build a coherent understanding.

2. Timescales are out of sync for evaluation and policy making. It takes so too long for evaluations to be published. Most evaluations are being published some years after the policy had been superseded.

Why evaluations are often commissioned but often ignored.
Most policymakers agree that evaluations are important,and they commissions them regardless. No doubt that they learns from them,but lessons often don't feed back into policy design or problem formulation.
I have to say this has been a tough week, but I’m ever grateful for for the inspiration and support of gifted & kind colleagues.
