Btw, here is where you sleep if you need overnight shelter in Vienna. You are not searched and you get to keep your stuff in a locker in the room. People can be in the room 10 am-8 am and then the room is cleaned. #WhenInWien

Individuals with low stability who consume drugs have the opportunity for day work sorting mail, that is paid day by day. Higher stability ppl can get full jobs. Welfare payments for anyone who can’t work or have limited options are 830 euros a month. #wheninwien

People in recovery qualify for supportive housing when they are stable. They can stay for 2 years where social workers help them learn to live independently. When the social worker signs off on life skills, they qualify for social housing. No drug tests required. #wheninwien
Drug users who are associated with criminality qualify for a program that provides therapy and treatment instead of punishment. The bldg has a night shelter, supervised living, & a walk in clinic. is funded by the Dept of Justice in Vienna. #WhenInWien
One of the biggest Bldgs using wooden modular construction that comes from locally grown sustainable timber. It’s built like legos and the panels are created in a factory for a generally low cost. #WhenInWien
