Through ITEP, the current B.El.Ed. would be supplanted in all 8 colleges offering B.El.Ed by 2024-25. DU is unwilling to hire new teachers for the new course, this is the only reason ITEP is set to be introduced in only those colleges that offer B.El.Ed.

KYS strongly condemns DU’s stance to impose ITEP illegally and with complete disregard for due procedure under DU statutes. A joint student-teachers protest was held outside VC office, for the issue would be discussed in AC meeting today.
