Spent too much time looking at the word “quiz” and now I’m not sure it’s real #wordnesia

Today's #WordOfTheDay is #Wordnesia and with every year that passes I feel it's growing more and more powerful. Either that or someone keeps switching round the keys on my keyboard. #WritersLife #AmReading #Bookworm #AmWriting

Have you ever written or typed a word, one you've typed a million times before, and suddenly been struck by how odd it is spelled or how weird it looks? I just had #wordnesia with these two words. They just look SO strange right now! Have you ever experienced this at school?

My word of the day is #Wordnesia. I was just going to share my experience today of processing survey data where the word "Agree", which repeated lots, starting to just look weird/wrong/strange. It's happened to me before. Apparently it's a thing. https://t.co/Q7B648SYJo

When Even the Simplest Word Looks Weird And Wrong You Have Wordnesia We don’t really know why it happens, but at least there is a term for it via @SmithsonianMag #brain #cognitive #learning #wordnesia https://t.co/yn04n10XMl
