@montezumachavez @gabrielazanfir @SandraWachter5 @IvanaBartoletti @mireillemoret @fabiochiusi @Floridi @dilettahuyskes_ @omertene True. it was an indirect discrimination case. Under EU #lawofAI this kind of unlawfulness would go undetected during self-assessment for CE marking of the #work_management system. Briefly, the AI demotes the worker also if sick or on a strike down into a class with worse shifts

@VanberghenEU An #AI #work_management system that is not audited by competent Authority on compliance with EU and national labour laws, on mandatory breaks, remote surveillance, fairness of wages, non discrimination including indirect one, etc should not be allowed to display #CE_marking..imho

Does the EU proposal for #AI regulation address this expoitation issue or, on the contrary, it 'legitimizes' it, inter alia putting a CE label for a #work_management that needs external check on its effective way of working, in context, in the warehouse 🙄 https://t.co/ZhkSJvpl0n
