I wouldn't put a perfect hero in the Book of Light Trilogy. One story I've written has a perfect hero. I'm sure someone would consider him seriously flawed. Depends on your values. ;o) #WriterQClub

I love spending time with the species, but he especially is a challenge to keep right given his complex history. That challenge makes him even more fun to spend time with.

'When Stars Speak' is an overly epic epic fantasy series involving prophecies, betrayal, gray morality, found families, &many, many booms.
For MCs we have the former Sergeant Jema, her adoptive father Scholar Gil, & Jema's LI & Gil's best friend: Rishi the nobleman.

The main three we spend time with are Major Jason Harlem, pilot of the heavy fighter, you guessed it, "Gold 1", and his fox-like alien crew, Sundale and Yarain.

Yes! Leah's dad plays a pretty important role in her arc and story. He was a single father for a while, he taught her the piano and got her into competitions (which they had a big blow out over but have reconciled), and he's just overall supportive and caring.

The main antag of Root of Bitterness wears a rose gold pinky ring which features a small cabochon sapphire.
I like him too much.

Adaraโs style is light and breezy. She likes loose linen trousers or shorts and blousy tops and sandals.
Kal has dressed so long as a Scythe, he doesnโt have much of a personal style beyond the dark leather and well-washed comfy tees he prefers.
@IAmSpeedOfLight #WriterQClub This WIP is set in a slightly alternate superhero world, but the fashions are pretty well the same as the world we know. My MC, Amy, is a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl.
Of course, that's when she's not in costume. Supersuits are common in this setting.

Hesper does tend to lean toward smell and touch. Those two things influence her emotions more than she'd like.
Cole is a sight guy. He wants what he can see and know with his own eyes.
David leans on touch and sight. Both are especially important for his job.
