Oscar and Alfie would like to mention how much they appreciate the return of summer here at #WritingwithLabradors. The sunshine seems to mean less #writing and more #Labradors but that’s fine. I can always write when it rains.

Alfie is on sentry duty this morning at #WritingwithLabradors and is both concerned and outraged that the postman has arrived.
Oscar does not care about the postman and wishes Alfie would stop barking every time someone walks past as it's disturbing his post breakfast nap.
Just back from an exhausting but very successful week in London researching book four of the #Manxman series. My time was divided between the Caird Library at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich and the @UkNatArchives in Kew. Now to work... #WritingWithLabradors.
Today two new toys arrived here at #WritingwithLabradors. The boys are very excited and there will be no peace for a while. On the other hand #OscarandAlfie are very happy.

In a rare domesticated post for me, I ordered new sofa covers for my study and am dead pleased with them. They look nicer than the mismatched tatty blankets I've used for years and the dogs look very decorative on them... #WritingWithLabradors #OscarAndAlfie
