🚨#UnitedStates: Together with @TheLawSociety @AsianLawyersN @IBAHRI @LRWCanada, and @CCBEinfo, we express grave concerns regarding the arrest of Chinese human rights lawyer #WuShaoping by the #US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (#ICE) on 15 July 2026, and the serious risks surrounding his ongoing immigration proceedings and any potential deportation to China, which would violate the principle of non-refoulement. We call on the US authorities to: 🔹Protect Wu Shaoping from deportation to China. 🔹Ensure his right to a fair trial. 🔹Properly consider the risks he faces in China when considering his asylum claim. 🔗Read the full statement https://t.co/T1TSW8Gqrn
