Think about what you can and can't control during treatment. For example, while you can't control what someone will say to about your diagnosis, you can control who you choose to talk to about it. #YAcancer19
Writing down your symptoms in a very specific way (i.e. I feel this type of pain here when I do X) gives doctors a visual picture of what's going on helps the team provide the best care for you. #YAcancer19
Being persistent in bringing an issue up to everyone involved -- doctors, nurses, social work, etc. -- will help if you’re having issues being heard. #YAcancer19
