Who gets a voice in community decisions?
The @IMChallengeug Media Van is taking dialogue directly to communities, creating spaces where young people, leaders, and stakeholders can openly discuss the issues that affect their lives.
While attending the Annual National Stakeholders' Breakfast Dialogue under the Youth Inclusion, Governance and Accountability (#YIGAProject) organised by @Restless_Uganda, our Secretary, @Turya_osborn encouraged young people to actively pursue opportunities created through government programmes and policy reforms.
He noted that many young people remain unaware of existing provisions that support youth participation in local government procurement and emphasised the need for increased awareness and engagement to enable youth to benefit from these opportunities.
The dialogue brought together representatives from civil society and youth leaders from Karamoja and West Nile under the theme:"Youth Unemployment: A Perspective on Government Wealth Creation Initiatives and Inclusive Governance for Sustainable Development."

The #YIGAProject, implemented by @Restless_Uganda, @IMChallengeUg, and @Kayese256, launched the Regional Youth Information Hub together with partners.
This hub will give young people access to information, strengthen their digital media skills, and create opportunities to engage in civic dialogue on issues that affect their lives.
From podcasts and radio programmes to films, magazines, and social media campaigns, young people will lead the way in creating content that informs, challenges, and inspires action.
