C.M. coded two paths from the green square to the red square. We counted how many squares it took for each path to be complete. One was 36 squares & the other was 38 squares. C.M. decided the path with 36 squares was better because there were less squares to travel! #YRDSBcodes

Week 2 begins in our coding playground! Students will be coding Dash to get through the path and play tunes on the xylophone. They'll also be guiding @SpheroEdu around the X-Games style course. #YRDSBcodes
Then, we coded a path for the peg doll. We had to go from the green GO to the red STOP. We had to be careful not to get blocked by the shapes! We used arrows to show our coded path.
We talked about how there can be many ways to code a path.
