@BronxPinstripes Too many outfielders and someone’s going to have to go at some point. I’d be ok with giving up Florial in a trade for an Ace this offseason (if available). I think the Boone/Cashman team really likes Hicks and views him as the long term option #YankeesChat

@BronxPinstripes He’s under team control for the next two years. There would really be no reason to proclaim one way or the other right now. My concern with Hicks is that when he slumps, he slumps hard. #YankeesChat

@BronxPinstripes Sevy starts the wild card game. Yes he's had some issues recently, but he looked the best he has in weeks against the Jays. And it's ridiculous to not have the man we call our ACE out there for a do-or-die game. He needs to know we believe in him. #YankeesChat

@BronxPinstripes A2: This should be a relatively easy problem to solve w/ all the former closers in pen. Betances has filled this role in the past, Britton obviously has the experience, + DRob can be trusted (if healthy). Boone should challenge the pen as a group w/o naming 1 guy. #YankeesChat

@BronxPinstripes The Yankees could sure use some starting pitching... which means the stars are aligned for Justus Sheffield to (hopefully) see some playing time down the stretch! Let’s see what this kid’s got... why not?
