The #YoungFunType1 conference - organised by Young Leader Alyssa Faulkner and Project Leader Katie Stewart - reached out to 16-25 year olds with advice and support as delegates shared their own experiences of living with Type 1.
Right - I have to be on a train in 8 hours so I'm getting some brief shut eye. Had an amazing say with @DiabetesScot and all the volunteers and colleagues. #DUKVolCon and #YoungFunType1 and #InspireAwards all fantastic reminders of what people can do
Of all the places to go and forget the things I need to keep me alive, at least I was at a diabetic event and it wasnโt weird to ask the girl beside me if she had any spare needles๐
